Below, is a delightful list of helpful things to inspire In your journey of happy skin care ! Wishing you all hydrated skin, and a happy body ;]
1) Be Gentle With your pore cleaning
As in, try not to pick at your pores! If you reduce your pore picking, to, only cleaning out a pore if there is a black or white head. Your skin will be a lot happier with you , and will be able to heal itself quicker. The bigger acne spots that have no head, are generally cysts! These little suckers will always hurt and turn even more red if you try to pick them. They will usually go away on their own, so let them be and if they get really bad ask for help from a dermatologist. They have the proper tools to clean a pore with a little devil such as, a cyst. Also , I recommend getting a face cleaning tool designed by dermatologists for when you do do it on your own. Don't forget to ALWAYS clean your face tools. This includes makes up sponges, brushes and the like.
2) Avoid over washing
all those daily foam washers, and scrubs and commercials telling us to wash your face twice a day, everyday. is actually bad for your skin! Everything in moderation, If you really think about it, unless you are putting on pounds of make-up a day, you really dont have a reason to extensively be washing it daily. A Gentle morning or nightly cleanse will do the trick just fine, or even just a quick rinse off shower will do magic. You dont even need to use anything but water to wash it half the time, but try to find a gentle cleanser and weekly exfoliant. Over-using those scrubs can leave your skin damaged and red. Why over work it when your skin can naturally heal itself. When you have trouble patches or spots it's your skin overcompensating from its natural oils being stripped away. Your skin is suppose to be moist and plump, that shows you it is healing itself.
3) Moisturize
Find yourself an amazing moisturizer for daily use. Find what works for your skin best. There are a lot of great guides out there for figuring out what skin type you have, but don't get too caught up on labels. I recommend something cruelty free and generally organic. if you wouldn't eat it, don't put it on your skin. the Yes To brand is amazing, plus theres a lot of amazing beauty hacks out there as well. Honey for one, has been an amazing secret for me, It helps keep my skin healthy and bacteria free. Vitamin D oil, Salves, other oils like jojoba and almond, are also good for keeping skin plump and moisturized. Not to mention natural and yummy !
